Dr. Elia Fanous

Dr. Elia Fanous joined MacArthur OB/GYN in January of 2008. He is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Fanous went to Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor. He then enrolled in graduate school at Baylor and received a Master of Clinical Gerontology degree. He went on to medical school at Texas Tech and graduated in 2001. After finishing medical school, he completed his training in OB/GYN at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, and then started practicing in Irving in 2005. Dr. Fanous is fluent in Arabic and conversational medical Spanish. He loves spending time with wife, twin girls and son. Dr. Fanous states, “My goal is to form a personal relationship with each of my patients. By spending quality time and educating patients, we can make personalized medical decisions together, ensuring the best medical care.” Dr. Fanous enjoys all aspects of OB/GYN, including infertility, obstetrics, gynecology, and pelvic surgery and strives to give personalized, compassionate, and the best care possible for women in any and all stages of life.
