Dr. Colette Dominique joined MacArthur OB/GYN in 2004. She is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Xavier University in New Orleans. She then attended Louisiana State University Medical Center School of Medicine in Shreveport. Although it was hard to leave her beloved home in Louisiana, she moved to Dallas in 2000 for her residency at the prestigious Parkland Memorial Hospital. In 2003, she was honored with the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Dominique promotes minimally invasive surgery such as Essure and Endometrial Ablations. “Many women are unaware of the minimally invasive options available today for a variety of Gynecologic problems. Many issues in women’s health which once required major surgery can now be solved in a short office visit.” Dr. Dominique states, “Whether its infertility, childbirth or routine gynecologic care I am committed to helping women at every stage of their lives.” Dr. Dominique loves to spend time with her family. She keeps busy with her two year old son.
